Citywall currently has several active projects, split across multiple strands:

  • Alternative Provision: School Age (Primary & Secondary)

  • Alternative Provision: Post 16 & Young Adults

  • Alternative Provision in Custody

  • Transitions: Resettlement and Complex Safeguarding

  • Youth Engagement: Refresh and Clifton Taskforce

  • Family Support Work

Our Alternative Provision Education offer is structured as School Age; Post 16 and Young Adults; Young People in Custody.  Our 1:1 bespoke, rapport-based model is designed to remove barriers to learning and wellbeing to engage young people in personal development and academic progress.

Transitions includes Resettlement after release from custody, Complex Safeguarding and Youth Crime Prevention, supporting young people to manage these transitions and to make safer, more positive choices.

Our Youth Engagement strand delivers intervention in a range of settings, including Refresh early intervention to support mental health.  We also frequently design and implement projects for commissioners and services to meet specific needs.

Our Family Support Workers come alongside parents/carers to provide emotional and practical support and strategies for overcoming challenges, as well as acting as an advocate for the family.

Citywall has a proven track record of engaging young people over a sustained period of intervention. Our staff build rapport with young people and families in their existing state, offering strength-based, solution-focused support.

We have learnt the crucial significance of building positive relationships, understanding and trust as keys to engagement in meaningful outcomes.
